Hennepin County to Finalize 35 Adoptions


MINNEAPOLIS -- While many people were flying in and out of Twin Cities International Airport Wednesday, one very special person was coming home. It was an emotional night for the Flanagans, who welcomed their adoptive daughter from Colombia.

3-month-old Gabriella was greeted by family, friends, and flashing cameras.

Born August 1, in Bogota, Colombia, arrived home with her adoptive parents Wednesday night. Her new family says she fits right in.

The Flanagans weren't supposed to return home until December, but were able to find a flight to be home for Thanksgiving. While they have holiday plans, their first priority is to get settled in and get some sleep.
