Daniel and Wendy are 25 and 24 years old. On 9/26/03 they gave birth to Haley, who was a healthy baby girl. At 4 months of age after laying her down for a nap, Haley began having seizures. From the time they became aware and called the ambulance to the time they got her to the hospital, she had several more and ended up with severe brain damage. She has the mental and physical capability of around a 9 month old. She can crawl, pull up, and can take steps if she is holding on to the fingers of an adult. She has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Cortical Vision Impairment. She is legally blind. Daniel and Wendy also have a son Jacob who is 2 ½ years old he is healthy and on target. They both work full time because they have to in order to "pay the bills" and are not able to give her the care she needs. They have also not been able to get the help they need from outside resources. They live in Arizona Neither of them have families that are able to help.They feel that this is the best option for her is to try to find a family that could help her by adopting her.
They would like an Open Adoption with visits if distance would allow and photos.
Fees are going to be $5000.00 Agency fee, Plus legals, I am waiving my fee.
